Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Carlos Miguel (25) sustained a hamstring injury during the FA Cup match against Exeter City on 11 February 2025. The Brazilian was forced to leave the pitch after experiencing discomfort while taking a goal kick. (Source: The Athletic)

After the match, manager Nuno Espírito Santo confirmed the severity of the injury, stating: “He is going to be out. He has an injury and is going to be out for a couple of weeks because it was a big one. It is his hamstring. When he went for a goal kick, he felt something. We did a scan and there is an injury there.” (Source: Paul Taylor, The Athletic)

Barring any setbacks, Carlos Miguel is expected to return to full fitness by late March 2025. However, the club is proceeding with caution to reduce the risk of re-injury, as hamstring issues are notorious for recurring if not properly healed. (Source: Nottingham Post)
