Evan Ferguson

West Ham United striker Evan Ferguson (20) will be ineligible to play against his parent club on 26 April due to loan agreement terms that prevent him from featuring in matches against Brighton & Hove Albion, the Premier League side that owns his contract.

However, since The Hammers are up against the Seagulls — the club that loaned Ferguson out — he won’t be able to play in this important match. It’s a common rule in domestic loan deals to prevent any conflict of interest.

Fortunately for West Ham, the forward is not dealing with any injuries and is expected to return to action on 4 May.
