Southampton striker Paul Onuachu (30) recently encountered an injury concern during the team's 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on April 2, 2025. Onuachu, who had given Southampton the lead with a header in the 20th minute, was substituted in the 89th minute after appearing to limp off the pitch. ​(Source ESPN)

As of 4 April, Onuachu is considered a fitness doubt for Southampton's upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur. (Source Saints Extra)

Coach Jurić expressed uncertainty about his availability, stating: "Paul has a problem with his ankle, today he didn't train, but we will see tomorrow." (Source: Daily Echo)

Striker Paul Onuachu was forced to start on the bench against Tottenham last weekend, after struggling with an ankle problem, but he did feature for the closing stages in the capital.

🎙️| Simon Rusk: "Paul's trained and is in and around it, there's still one or two we're assessing and ongoing and Paul is one of them, but we're hoping there that the signs are good." Rusk declared.

🎙️| Simon Rusk: Paul Onuachu faces a late test. ‘He's back in and around it the last day or two, so it might be a bit 50-50 at this point. It's one to assess tomorrow and give us a bit more time to see where he's at. We're hopeful but it's not conclusive.’
