Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon (23) has been sidelined due to a significant bruise in his thigh and groin area, sustained during international duty with England in March 2025. Manager Eddie Howe described the injury as "a really nasty bruise in and around his thigh, groin area." (Source: Shields Gazette)

This injury coincided with Gordon serving a three-match suspension following a red card received during an FA Cup match against Brighton & Hove Albion on March 2, 2025. The suspension ruled him out of the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool on March 16, 2025. (Source: Sky Sports)
