Liverpool defender Joe Gomez (27) underwent hamstring surgery in February 2025 after re-injuring his hamstring in an FA Cup match.

Gomez has yet to resume training with his teammates but Slot explained today that he is on course to be in contention for selection before 2024-25 concludes.
