Matt Turner - ineligible to face parent club
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Matt Turner (30) will be ineligible to play against his parent club on 5 May due to loan agreement terms that prevent him from featuring in matches against Nottingham Forest, the Premier League side that owns his contract.
However, since The Eagles are up against The Garibaldis — the club that loaned Turner out — he won’t be able to play in this important match. It’s a common rule in domestic loan deals to prevent any conflict of interest.
Fortunately for Crystal Palace, the keeper is not dealing with any injuries and is expected to return to action on 11 May.
