Malo Gusto - hamstring
Chelsea defender Malo Gusto (24) sustained a hamstring injury during the Premier League match against Fulham on 20 April 2025. Gusto, who had come on as a substitute at half-time, was forced off in the 88th minute after pulling up during a 50/50 challenge with Adama Traoré. He immediately grabbed the back of his left thigh and signalled that he could not continue.
Update Friday 25 April 2025
Enzo Maresca has confirmed the injury suffered at Fulham by Malo Gusto is not a long-term issue, although the right-back won’t be in contention to face Everton this weekend.
🎙️| Enzo Maresca:"Malo is injured but it does not look like an important injury,’ our Italian head coach told the gathered media at Cobham.... He is running and doing things outside, but he won't be available for tomorrow’s game" (Source: Chelsea)
Malo Gusto certainly done for the season with a hamstring injury, horrible to see after he had such a good 2023/24 season under Pochettino.
